Q:What is titanium? Why use titanium? A:Titanium is a light, durable, hypoallergenic metal to a human body, and it does not rust. In addition, titanium is known as its strong radiation of energy, we started focusing on it for using as the medium of which the “Phiten-process” applies to.
Q:What is AQUA TITAN? A:AQUA TITAN is microscopic titanium particles in water, achieved via “Phiten-process” technology. This material realizes titanium particles embedded into every strand of fabric, while maintaining the comfortable texture. This unique fabric is often applied to such products as necklaces, clothing, supporters, socks, and these products gently encompass your body.
Q:What do X30, X50, and X100 mean? A:They represent the concentration level of AQUA TITAN, and can be adopted only for fabric products. “X30” means that “30 times more concentrated than the standard of AQUA TITAN” has been applied in fibre. For non-fabric products, we often use AQUA TITAN SILICA instead of a liquid state of AQUA TITAN, but the concentration is not representing by “X –”.

Q:How long could Phiten products last? A:It lasts semi-permanently. As long as they continue being in the appropriate form, the products will help you and will not be faded. However, we recommend you to get a new one to refresh, once such colour off or dirt begins to stand out.
Q:Do Phiten products cause any side effects? A:No. Phiten products can help in supporting and improving your natural healing power. As it is the original healing power of a human body, no side effects will be caused.
Q:Can Phiten products be used by pregnant women, babies, children, elderly or people who have a pacemaker? A:Phiten products has no age limit and are safe to everyone including pregnant women, babies, children, elderly and people who have a pacemaker. However, we advise that necklaces and other products should be kept out of reach of small children to prevent any choking or swallowing of the products.
CAUTION: If you are using the electrical equipment which is sensitive to magnetism, please refrain from using Phiten’s “magnetic” products.
In addition, since the skin of pregnant/postpartum women, or baby may be more sensitive, if you notice any allergic reactions such as skin itchiness, stop using and consult your doctor immediately.
Q:Can I wash or bleach Phiten products? Will the function be affected? A:Basically Phiten textile products (e.g. RAKUWA accessories, apparels and supporters, etc. ) are made of fabric, so they can be washed by water. Please do not wash with chlorine bleach to avoid fading. The surface of insole can be cleaned by wet cloth. Since different materials are used for different product, cleaning method is different. Please check the how-to-wash instruction stated on the products or package, or contact our sales.
Since AQUA TITAN is embedded and bind firmly into the fabric with Phiten’s unique processing method. They remain part of the fabric, just like a color dye. AQUA TITAN will not come off even after the product is wet by sweat or being washed.

Q:Can I wear more than one Phiten accessories at the same time? A:Yes. Wearing more than one Phiten accessories will not cause any adverse effect. Reversely, one may be easier to feel the benefit.

Q:Can I wear the accessories outside clothing? Will it affect the function of the product? A:We believe that there is no significant difference between wearing them directly on your body and on your clothes. You may wear them according to your preference.
Q:Can I wear the accessories in bath or shower? A:Depending on the model and some models should be avoided. If you feel uncomfortable about making them wet while wearing, please take them off before taking a shower/a bath.
Q:Can I wear the accessories during sleep?A:Yes. They may help you regaining the inherent relaxed state.
Q:Are the accessories safe to be use with a pacemaker? Are they safe to use in medical check-ups? A:Yes, they are safe to be used with a pacemaker and during medical check-ups. The effect of Phiten products will not harm anyone in the mentioned situation. However, it is also recommended to put off the product whiling taking X-ray. Please consult your doctor if necessary.

ABOUT TAPE & LOTION
Q: What is the difference between Power Tape and Roll Tape? A:Both are the titanium-based tape via Phiten’s technology. Since the shape is different, the following way of usage is recommended:
Power Tape (patch type): Non-elastic
This type is recommended when you feel discomfort at a pinpoint area by pressing with your finger.
Roll Tape: Elastic
This type is recommended when you feel a sense of discomfort at large muscles or at joint areas. You may cut the tape according to your desired length.
Q:How long can the effect of Titanium Tape last? A:The effect of Titanium Tape will not be weakening, just like other Phiten products. However, saying more clearly, we recommend changing the tape on your skin regularly every 2-3 days at the longest to prevent skin troubles (depending on individuals), especially in hot/humid weather or after exercises.
Q:What should I do if my skin gets red or feel itchy after using the titanium tape? A:You should stop using it immediately and remove gently. Please keep the certain area clean and wait until the redness and itchiness has gone before using it again on the same area. If those skin troubles continue, please consult your doctor.
Since the skin cells also breathes and perspires, it needs to be exposed to the air regularly. Even though adhesive glue for medical use has been using, preventing these troubles 100% is not easy. Please try “patch test” before you actually use the tape on your skin.
If you skin is sensitive to adhesive tape, it is suggested to use Metax Lotion or cream instead. Apply the body lotion or cream on muscle with gentle massage and the relaxing power is same as the titanium tape.
Q:Can I take a shower/a bath with the tape? A:Yes, showering or bathing will not affect the function itself. However, the tape may come off easier after getting wet
Q:How long can the tape & lotion last? A:The tape could stay for 2-3 days as mentioned in Q16, subject to skin hygienic reason. The lotion will last for approximately 2-6 hours, depending on the body situations and activities.
